We’re excited to introduce the latest improvements in BitNinja 3.13.1. This release focuses on strengthening log analysis and addressing package compatibility to help ensure smoother installations across different systems. These small yet important changes improve system reliability and enhance detection capabilities.
We’ve improved the new 404 rule for better handling of missing resource requests. This upgrade enhances the filtering of irrelevant log entries, resulting in more accurate event correlation and reduced noise in log-based security alerts.
On EL7-based systems, we identified and resolved a problem where an incorrect package was being installed. This fix prevents potential conflicts and ensures the correct WAF version is deployed for that environment, helping maintain reliable protection.
To ensure you’re running the latest version, check your update channel settings in the BitNinja Console using RAU. If you have specific configurations or applications preventing automatic updates, please refer to our documentation for instructions on manual updates and RAU configuration.
