BitNinja 3.12.11: Improved Malware Chunk File Handling and PortHoneypot Initialization

The latest BitNinja 3.12.11 release includes targeted fixes for enhanced stability across our core modules. In this update, we refined how malware chunks are managed and addressed initialization behaviors in the PortHoneypot module, leading to smoother deployments and improved resource handling. Additionally, this release includes adjustments in WAF Pro and the Process Analysis module to ensure consistent functionality.

BitNinja 3.12.11

Malware Detection:

We’ve fixed an issue where too many malware chunk files could accumulate during operation. This enhancement reduces unnecessary file generation, improving performance and resource management on servers handling high volumes of malware scans.

PortHoneypot:

Resolved a problem in the PortHoneypot module where a fresh BitNinja installation could introduce empty elements into the blocked_ports and allowed_ports lists. With this fix, initial configurations start cleanly and behave as expected, improving reliability during setup.

WAF Pro:

We've fixed domain pattern handling inside WAF Pro, making filtering and protection rules more accurate and predictable in diverse web environments. This improves how WAF Pro interprets and applies domain-specific rules.

BitNinja Process Analysis 1.0.24:

This release fixes issues related to toggling the module and generating JSON output. With this update, the module behaves more consistently, ensuring its diagnostic data remains accessible and accurate.
