Most systems will automatically update, if you have specific settings or applications preventing automatic updates, you can follow our documentation on how to proceed to have the latest version installed.
Here is the summary of the changes:
/var/spool/cron to the MalwareDetection watch list.
- This ensures we are able to stop cron-based Malware, granting your machines more security.
Parallel scans can not be started on paths where a scan is already running.
- This helps prevent redundant scans.
Fixed a bug where Malware Detection crashed on files with too many symbolic links.
- This bug has been fixed, meaning it will no longer crash on such files, providing more stability.
Added a special detector for cron injector malware.
- This helps us find and eliminate cron-based malware.
This update mostly improves stability and adds extra features to the Malware Detection module.
