AI Malware scanner updates, improved incident processing, stability improvements, bugfixes and even more in our new BitNinja versions (V3.8.0 to 3.8.3)

Most systems will automatically update, if you have specific settings or applications preventing automatic updates, you can follow our documentation on how to proceed to have the latest version installed.

Here's the juicy stuff:

• Phase 2 of Malware Scanner has been added to AI scan.
  • With this update, you can utilize our servers' performance to offload the burden of malware scanning.

• New excluded directories from Malware Scanner.
  • Don't waste resources on files that do not need scanning!

• Rule 80_1_023 is disabled by default in the Log Analysis module.
  • This ensures no false positives are being created when looking for brute force attacks.

• Fixed an issue regarding the locally saved module status file creation.
  • As I always said, locally saved module status file creation is important! This ensures we don't have inconsistencies.

• Fixed an issue with the AI Scan API communication error codes.
  • This ensures smooth communication between your server and our API when using AI Scanner.

• Optimized incident processing and sending.
  • This ensures your servers are handling all incidents properly.

• Fixed an issue regarding the Malware Detection module where some files were scanned multiple times.
  • This ensures the Malware Detection module doesn't waste any resources.

• Fixed an issue regarding the Shogun optimization which caused some messages to get stuck in the message queue.
  • "You were supposed to destroy the stuck messages, not join them!" - As summed up by Obi-Wan. This was a hotfix for the incident processing and sending update.
