Most systems will automatically update, if you have specific settings or applications preventing automatic updates, you can follow our documentation on how to proceed to have the latest version installed.

See the details below:

• Scans now run in 2 phases: quick and deep scan.
  • This adds a new "quick scan" functionality, reducing scan length by up to 90%. If you start a malware scan, it will automatically run a quick scan first, and after finishing, it will automatically start the deep scan. This behaviour can be enabled/disabled in the config.

• An unused config option called invalidate_results has been removed to avoid confusion.
  • No one likes cluttered config files with meaningless variables.

This update brought a new feature in the form of a much quicker malware scan sprinkled with some housekeeping.
