We have had some busy days, and our newest version of BitNinja is now available.
Most systems will automatically update, if you have specific settings or applications preventing automatic updates, you can follow our documentation on how to proceed to have the latest version installed.
A quick summary covering the update:
Removed /usr/*/www from the excluded paths for Malware Detection.
Fixed a bug where in certain edge-cases the Malware Detection module ignored whitelisted files or patterns due to filesystem cache
.Fixed a bug where the WAF Manager could not start when the server had more than 160 IP addresses.
A feature called “Extended analysis“ has been implemented which will scan files that were deemed safe previously. With the help of additional rules in search of suspicious patterns.
This update improved stability on bigger machines and enhanced the Malware Detection module with extra capabilities.
